Director, Business Development

Role Overview

The Director, Business Development supports the growth strategy across Hong Kong and Singapore through the origination and execution of Financial Solutions (FS) transactions, including block transactions and capital-motivated solutions.

What You Will Do

Manage the end-to-end execution of FS transactions, identify and develop FS opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and drive collaboration across internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related disciplines
• 7+ Years experience in life insurance, reinsurance, banking or financial services with exposure to Financial Solutions transactions, pricing, or capital management
• FSA qualification or equivalent
• Highly organized, solutions focused and delivery-orientated with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others
• Strong client services ability with excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Strong project management skills and the ability to partner with internal & external stakeholders in a collaborative manner
• Strong critical and innovative thinking, with the ability to develop business insights
