Associate Data Analyst (Re-Run)

The Associate Data Analyst role is responsible for data preparation, analysis, and visualization, as well as stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the SBI Business Solutions team to compile reports, communicate changes, and respond to enquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, statistics, data or computer science/engineering or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years practical experience or internship in analytics, data visualization, or reporting.
  • Technical (systems) mindset
  • Quality and accuracy orientation
  • Able to work in a complex business (and data) environment
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • High energy levels and action orientation
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, add-ins)
  • Basic knowledge of Query Tools (e.g. Interactive reporting, MS Access, Power Pivot, MS Excel, Business Objects)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Effective elicitation of requirements
  • Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookup, index-match etc.)
  • Agile environment experience (Jira & Way of work)
  • SQL / Cloudera experience (or other BI tools) would be advantageous
  • Good attention to detail
  • Innovative and conceptual thinking
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Results driven
