Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Sales Compensation Operations will own the variable compensation budget, track it against plan each month, and report it to the CFO and CHRO. They will also bring recommendations to the Commissions Committee on how the plans should pay for performance, backed by data analysis.
What You Will Do
The role involves owning the monthly commissions cycle in Everstage, modeling the cost and effect of proposed plan changes, and reconciling every payout to plan, payroll, and the ledger. The Senior Manager will also configure each plan in Everstage, carry out Commissions Committee decisions, and maintain plan documents and dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in sales compensation, FP&A, or commercial finance, including hands-on administration of an incentive compensation system. They will have managed a variable compensation budget and reported it to a CFO or executive team, and have strong modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
Requirements
- 6+ years in sales compensation, FP&A, or commercial finance at a technology company
- Hands-on administration of an incentive compensation system (Everstage, Spiff, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, or similar)
- Experience managing a variable compensation budget and reporting it to a CFO or executive team
- Strong modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to present to executives in a few slides or a one-page memo
- Discretion with pay data
