Role Overview
Schneider is seeking a Business Development Director to develop strategic plans for new customers that grow relationships and increase revenue and profitability. The role will be selling our Supply Chain/Logistics services. Ideal candidate will be located in the Southeast region.
What You Will Do
Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and planning. Prepare and lead contract negotiations for new business. Follow-up on lead generation through sales calls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong prospecting skills, financial management skills, and written and oral communication skills are required. Transportation industry experience is also preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of six years of sales experience
- Transportation industry experience
- Valid driver’s license and meet Schneider’s DMV record standards
