Role Overview

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development to join our collaborative leadership team. The DBD serves as a mentor to the admissions team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who has a passion for rehab and is skilled at building and nurturing long-lasting relationships within their local community.

What You Will Do

You will oversee a team of Clinical Liaisons and Admissions Coordinators in developing and nurturing professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners, payers, and other clinicians in acute care hospitals. You will lead business development and admissions efforts for hospitals, focusing on relationship-building with hospital leaders, removing obstacles, and enhancing team training and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Rehab Therapist
  • Five or more years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing
  • Three or more years of team management experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Proven success in relationship development and training/mentoring of team members
