Role Overview

Responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring the credit union’s business development plan for the West Branch territory. Expands market penetration, member business relationships, and generates new business relationships.

What You Will Do

Implements a business development calling program, serves as a subject matter expert for business deposit accounts, takes loan applications, reviews member financial condition, and assesses repayment ability. Makes underwriting decisions, completes loan documents, and closes loans.

Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, outside sales, or account management. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills are necessary. Ability to work a schedule with flexible hours, including nights and weekend hours, is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
  • Experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
