Role Overview

Contribute to the performance of AFD business by generating sales and profits through the motivation, training, development, and management of sales representatives and technical service representatives.

What You Will Do

Manage sales targets, margins, and volume of the division in Colombia, meet performance targets, and develop sales strategies to improve sales and market share.

Requirements

• Successfully manage sales targets, margins, and volume of the division in Colombia
• Meet the general performance targets of the territory
• Adequately manage controllable expenses
• Select, develop, supervise, and train directly the dedicated staff to carry out sales functions
• Improve sales and Colombian market share through the development and implementation of sales strategies
• Provide excellent service to customers through highly motivated and trained personnel
• Manage the sales activity of sales representatives, set targets, review progress, approve prices, review and approve the list of potential clients
• Visit customers with sales representatives and provide support and training with the sales process
• Help to prevent and proactively resolve customer concerns
• Develop sales budgets, gross margin, and expenses for sales representatives
• Make price decisions in accordance with the Division’s guidelines and level of authority
• Lead the sales team in prospecting new sales opportunities
• Manage the establishment and maintenance of new and existing accounts
• Travel in the area of responsibility maintaining and generating business in the automotive sector
• Maintain a fluid communication with new and existing customers
