SEO Manager

Role Overview

As a premier subject matter expert in SEO & Organic Search, you will develop and manage a portfolio of 4-6 SEO accounts, build great client relationships, and manage projects & deliverables. You’ll bring a scrappy & tenacious attitude to your work, diving headfirst into the “new frontier” of organic search by pushing the boundaries of AI search testing.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for driving and executing the strategy, innovation and performance of multiple client SEO strategies, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms.

Requirements

• Agency Background: You’ve previously ‘done the work’ at another performance marketing agency, and know what it takes to deliver results
• Years of Experience: We’re seeking candidates with at LEAST 2 years of agency experience; 3 years of overall relevant marketing/SEO experience is required, 5+ years preferred
• Client-Facing Comfortability: This role is not a good fit for someone who doesn’t want to talk directly to clients
• AI Search Testing & Optimization: You have hands-on experience optimizing for AI search (not theoretical; actual tests)
• Business Acumen: Being able to build & execute SEO strategies across multiple industries is crucial
• Content Experience: You’re an expert at driving content strategy based on audience, keyword and competitor research
• Tools/Platforms: You’re a pro with common SEO tools & platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHRefs, and Screaming Frog
• Project & Time Management: You run a clean calendar and keep priorities straight
