Financial Operations Accountant III

Role Overview

The Financial Operations Accountant III is the lead for NCTA finance settlement processes, including accounting and compliance with partnership agreements. This position will be responsible for monthly interagency settlements, receivables from other toll agencies and payables to them.

What You Will Do

The selected applicant will reconcile General Ledger accounts independently, prepare journal entries, and update procedures and process documentation. They will also be responsible for end-to-end testing of new payment methodologies, new toll processes, and new roadways.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and General Ledger systems (e.g., SAP)
• Experienced in reconciling General Ledger accounts independently

• Knowledge of accounting internal controls
