Principal Data Scientist

Role Overview

Build rules, algorithms, and machine learning models to respond to and mitigate business risks in the company’s products/platforms. Analyze business and security data to uncover evolving attack motions and identify weaknesses and opportunities in risk defense solutions.

What You Will Do

Define risk control measurements, quantify, generalize, and monitor risk-related business and operational metrics. Align risk teams and their stakeholders on risk control numeric goals.

Must have experience with machine learning and statistical techniques, deep learning, and gradient boosting. Ability to think creatively and solve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or other relevant STEM majors
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with ML tools such as R, Python, Spark, SageMaker, TensorFlow, or similar
• Experience in machine learning and statistical techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, statistical inference, collaborative filtering, and natural language processing
• Experience with deep learning and gradient boosting
• Understanding and experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques
