Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Accountant

Role Overview

The FP&A Accountant will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting across the business. The role will transform financial and operational data into meaningful insight, develop forecasting models, analyze business performance, and support strategic and commercial initiatives.

What You Will Do

The FP&A Accountant will develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and planning models, forecast lending balances, net interest income, EIR/fee income, and portfolio profitability, and produce monthly management reporting, performance analysis, and forecast updates.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Consumer Lending or FinTech
• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using SQL and Power BI
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Experience producing management reporting and variance analysis
