Role Overview

The Senior Analyst on TD Direct Investing’s Strategy and Competitive Intelligence team will build financial models, assess competitive developments, and evaluate growth opportunities to help senior leaders make informed business decisions.

The role involves building financial models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses, and analyzing internal data and external information to explain business performance and client behavior.

Requirements

• post-secondary undergraduate degree, preferably in business or finance
• 3+ years of post-undergraduate experience in an analytical role with financial analysis, or roles spanning strategy, consulting, finance, or investment banking
• strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• experience with data querying, processing, or visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
• ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• ability to independently manage competing priorities and deadlines across projects
