Associate Director, Business Development

Role Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring the success of a large portfolio of distributed products by achieving target sales revenue, profit, and return of invested capital. The role involves working with a team to achieve market share and wallet share with suppliers and customers.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include achieving sales, profit, and breadth targets, vendor management, key customer relationship development, internal sales team proficiency, marketing excellence, and operations excellence in supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have >5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, 3 to 5 years of experience managing employees, and a minimum diploma. They should be experienced in distribution business, have knowledge of IT channel business, supply chain, and government tendering process, and be able to lead a team and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• More than 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience directly managing / supervising employees
• Minimum Diploma is required
• Experienced in Distribution business either in channel management, product marketing management or related experience in a similar capacity in high volume, fast-paced sales and marketing function
• Ability in leading a team of like minded professionals to address high pace, high volume sales and marketing business
• Ability to plan, strategize and assign appropriate work load to team members
• Knowledge in IT channel business, supply chain and government tendering process
• Ability to publicly speak
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written), listen, listen and problem solve with the market players.
• Ability to gather and analyze information and apply sound judgement in arriving at appropriate conclusions and determining resolutions priorities.
