Role Overview
The Data Engineer will work alongside senior developers, data engineers, and business analysts to build application components, structured data models, integrations, and reporting outputs that support a multi-level clinical review and approval workflow.
What You Will Do
Day-to-day work spans both application development and data engineering: implementing intake forms and role-based dashboards, designing and maintaining the underlying data structures that drive routing and threshold logic, building and validating data pipelines, and producing reporting views and executive summary outputs used by leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, software engineering, or similar.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a closely related technical role.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and SharePoint Online.
- Proficiency in SQL, including working knowledge of relational database design and data modeling.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working with structured data formats such as JSON.
- Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to read and work from written requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new platforms and tools quickly, including low-code development environments.
- Capacity to work independently or collaboratively with a cross-functional team in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and requests.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
