Inside Sales Representative

Role Overview

Join our Industrial Measurements sales team at Vaisala Inc. to provide solutions to customers in a variety of high-tech industries. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in a collaborative environment, supporting customers in a variety of high-tech industries.

What You Will Do

Support internal/external technical questions, provide technical expertise, and develop an understanding of customer industries and applications to identify strategic clients for outside sales. Travel as needed with outside sales team to support presentations, trade show activities, and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or other relevant discipline preferred
• 2 or more years of technical sales or related industry experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and organization skills, ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer focus with the ability to communicate service features and benefits
• Ability to learn market, product, and application knowledge
• Ability to interpret technical documentation
• Act with integrity, aligned with Vaisala values
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to fluently communicate in English with additional language skills being a plus
