About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager or Director to spearhead our expansion and drive AI-led workflow automation in small-to-medium financial institutions. You will leverage your strategic connections to bypass corporate procurement cycles and build immediate, long-term trust through high-impact, real-world PoCs.
- Independently identify and capture new business opportunities to expand our footprint within small-to-medium financial institutions, including but not limited to family offices, wealth management firms, boutique lenders, and asset management companies—as well as the local FinTech/RegTech ecosystem.
- Drive revenue growth by leading the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and solution adoption.
- Utilize our “Pocket Demo” to ignite deep workflow discovery conversations, pinpoint real customer pain points, achieve sharp internal alignment, and seamlessly convert prospects into live PoC targets.
- Partner with internal engineering teams to develop localized, customer-centric solutions and deliver high-impact technical presentations.
- Track and analyze sales data and key performance metrics to optimize business development strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on lead-generation activities to boost brand awareness within the target segment.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- A strong, existing network of clients in the finance sector, with a specific focus on small-to-medium-sized companies, is essential.
- A proven track record in selling Fintech, IT services, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions is highly advantageous.
- Strong consultative sales and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated approach combined with willingness to act collaboratively on shared goals enhances team success.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to support collaboration with regional teams.
