About the role
CDR Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Consultant. Alongside the senior team, you will be responsible for managing our growing pool of corporate communications and investor relations clients. In your role, you will oversee the delivery of excellent day-to-day client-servicing work while working with a team of consultants locally and across regional Asian offices to provide quality client counsel and advisory. This will be a unique and exciting opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, provide strategic counsel, and collaborate with a team of talented consultants, both locally and across our regional Asian offices.

The day to day
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and executepublic relations and investor relations programs, providing insightful counsel to clients and colleagues.
- Client & Media Engagement: Lead client accounts, build strong relationships withmedia, analysts, and fund managers, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Content Development: Craft compelling press releases, speeches, presentations, and other corporate communications materials to enhance client visibility.
- Market & Industry Insights: Monitor news trends and provide timely analysis of developments that impact clients.
- Business Development: Support new business pitches with research, intelligence gathering, and strategic recommendations.
- Mentorship & Growth: Guide and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Other duties as required to support the success of CDR Asia and our clients.
About your experience
- Impeccable client-servicing skills with a proven track record of servicing MNC clients, including financial institutions;
- An ability to actively strategize alongside the senior team and contribute to strategic communications programmes and proposals for clients and prospective clients;
- An appetite for guiding and mentoring consultants to deliver quality client servicing and to develop their own careers;
- A proactive and participative approach in new business proposals and pitches;
- A healthy understanding of the local, regional and international media in Singapore;
- Strong media pitching experience and an interest in developing media relations;
- Comfortable in conducting research, writing and editing news releases, factsheets, speeches, PowerPoint presentations and other relevant communications materials.
Key requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in public relations / corporate communications (ideally gained from a PR Consultancy environment)
- Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Creative thinker and problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- A collaborative mindset, with a track record of working effectively in teams.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree—backgrounds in journalism, finance, or communications will be highly regarded.
