Support the delivery of internal and external communications for our global Commercial organisation, working with key stakeholders in our global commercial hub based in Singapore.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Commercial Communications to provide communications and events support for the Singapore Commercial hub. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Communications, this role will support the development and implementation of internal communications strategies for the Commercial function overall, including:
- Support the development and delivery of effective and innovative strategic communications for key Commercial initiatives.
- Use communications to effectively foster employee engagement and pride, and to build and enhance Commercial’s reputation both within Commercial and across the Group.
- Cultivate key relationships with and influence stakeholders in Commercial and across the broader business to identify, plan and develop effective communications.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to provide communications that meet business needs, timeframes and budget.
- Support the planning, development and delivery of messaging and content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, announcements, senior leaders’ messages, etc.
- Manage the activation of Group Communications campaigns for the Commercial function and for the Singapore office as appropriate.
- Support employee engagement and employee communications, acting as a communication consultant and adviser to the Commercial leadership team (GMs and above).
- Organise global Commercial and Group town halls such as Material Matters Live as required.
- Manage Commercial video content creation including planning, production and delivery.
- Support Commercial Connect newsletter content planning, creation, review, translation and distribution.
- Support communications activities for the Singapore office including planning, developing and delivering the Singapore office newsletter, and act as communication consultant for Singapore office clubs and local teams.
- Act as the communications consultant for the Asian Voices Employee Resource Group.
- Manage digital communications channels including Element, Commercial and SLT mailboxes, Viva Engage channels, and Singapore office digital screens.
- Manage and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for content execution.
- Ensure communications align with Group communications and brand standards and guidelines.
About You
- A degree in communications or related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years’ experience in communications roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated proficiency across a variety of audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and proactive, results-driven, innovative and collaborative approach.
- Curiosity about and interest in commercial aspects of the business.
- A passion for finding better ways, championing learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
