Senior Data Product Manager — Financial Services (Data Mesh / Data Products)
About the role
Arrayo builds and embeds senior delivery teams that help financial institutions operationalize the data product model. We're growing our Data Product practice and hiring hands-on Data Product Managers who take data products from idea → POC → finished product — and who can roll up their sleeves in the data themselves.
This is a builder's role. You'll own data products end to end and work across multiple domains, shoulder-to-shoulder with domain owners, platform architects, and IT leads — defining products and data contracts, prototyping directly in the platform, and shipping production-grade outputs.
What you'll do
- Own data products end to end and across domains — from idea and definition, through POC, to a published, production-grade product.
- Define data products and author data contracts (scope, ownership, interfaces, quality, SLAs) within a federated, data-mesh operating model.
- Get hands-on with the data: build and validate prototypes in the POC phase using Dataiku, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Deliver finished products published in Snowflake or Power BI, backed by sound data modeling, pipelines, and analytics.
- Perform data analysis, ETL, and automation directly using SQL, Python, Power BI, Dataiku, Databricks (PySpark), and Snowflake.
- Coach and upskill business teams where it accelerates adoption — a valued part of the role, but secondary to building and shipping.
What we're looking for
- Genuine data product / data mesh delivery experience in financial services — you've actually built data products, not just advised on them.
- Strong, hands-on technical data skills: SQL, Python, Power BI, Dataiku (ETL), Databricks / PySpark, and Snowflake, with solid data modeling fundamentals.
- A true cross-domain Data Product Manager — grounded in data product management and comfortable moving across domains, not anchored to a single business area.
- Senior practitioner credibility: able to hold your own with Domain Owners and IT leads as a peer.
- Practical command of data contracts, data ownership, and federated governance.
- Ability to mobilize quickly, work pragmatically, and stay commercially sensible.
