About the role:
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for accelerating growth and enhancing commercial impact for the Intracept Procedure. This role owns program execution across product positioning, market awareness, field enablement, launch readiness, customer engagement, and competitive differentiation for Interventional Spine products. A key expectation of the role is to integrate AI-powered marketing strategies and new capabilities that improve customer insight, execution efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
This role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Marketing Operations, Data and Analytics, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Finance, and clinical stakeholders to align innovative go-to-market capabilities with business objectives while operating within Boston Scientific quality, compliance, data privacy, and promotional review requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop business plans, product positioning, and marketing programs that deliver education and engagement in key customer segments and directly support forecasted top-line and bottom-line business objectives.
- Lead downstream go-to-market strategy for the Intracept Procedure, including market awareness, competitive positioning, segmentation, channel planning, clinician engagement, and field sales enablement.
- Implement AI-powered marketing strategies and automation capabilities, such as predictive targeting, account-based marketing workflows, intent-signal processes, campaign personalization, automated reporting, and data-driven performance optimization, with clear linkage to measurable business objectives.
- Partner with Market Insights, Data and Analytics, and other internal teams to evaluate, manage, and improve marketing systems, CRM workflows, dashboards, and digital tools that increase efficiency, scalability, and measurable commercial impact.
- Obtain and apply immersive knowledge of the Interventional Spine products and competitive offerings, becoming a subject matter expert on features and benefits, translating insights into positioning and marketing materials.
- Managing U.S. commercialization of new products and programs, including pre-launch planning, launch execution, training, adoption tracking, and post-launch optimization.
- Partner with KOLs, field sales, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather clinical insights, unmet needs, customer feedback, and market intelligence to inform product development, messaging, positioning, and engagement strategies.
- Track KPIs, field feedback, market trends, campaign performance, and AI/automation outputs to refine tactics, improve targeting, communicate business impact, and support data-informed decisions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including Quality System expectations, promotional review requirements, appropriate legal/regulatory approvals, data privacy considerations, corporate AI governance, and responsible use of AI-enabled or automated tools.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, product management, business development, digital marketing, analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success driving downstream marketing strategy, business planning, product positioning, launch execution, and disciplined program implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, customer behavior, field feedback, campaign performance, and KPIs to generate actionable recommendations and improve commercial impact.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with strong leadership, project management, communication, and influence skills.
- Medical device product launch experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, matrixed, and highly regulated environment with accuracy and accountability.
- Understanding of compliant promotional practices, documentation expectations, data privacy considerations, and approval processes for marketing programs.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device industry, specifically interventional spine, pain management, or neuromodulation.
- Experience with marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics dashboards, account-based marketing, or digital engagement tools.
- Experience building or partnering to deploy scalable dashboards, internal intelligence tools, automation pipelines, and reporting processes to convert larger datasets into actionable business insights.
- Experience integrating enterprise AI roadmaps into marketing capability development, field enablement, campaign operations, competency building programs, or commercial planning processes.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strategic thinking with an appetite for innovation, experimentation, continuous learning, and practical adoption of new tools that improve business results.
- Customer service orientation with diplomacy, a service mindset, and a team approach to working with colleagues and partners.
- Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, energetic, creative, and solutions-oriented.
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated independent judgment and decision-making ability.
Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least four days per week.
