About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Partnerships Officer (CPO) to spearhead the integration and expansion of its statewide partnerships and revenue function. The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for designing and leading a cohesive strategy that ensures long-term sustainability and impact. This role demands a systems-minded operator with a strong external presence, capable of seamlessly transitioning between strategic planning and hands-on execution. The CPO will work closely with executive leadership to refine the organization's partnership and revenue strategy, supervise a team of development professionals, and provide the CEO with data-driven insights to inform external relationships. A significant focus will be on building and maintaining a robust revenue system, including philanthropic fundraising, corporate partnerships, and earned income, while also identifying and advancing high-impact strategic partnerships.

Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a deep passion for its mission and a commitment to nonpartisan, cross-sector partnerships. A minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience in fundraising and partnership building is required, with a proven track record in closing significant gifts and managing a substantial revenue portfolio. The role calls for a candidate with a strong operational and project management background, adept at fostering relationships with partners and funders, and bringing a data-driven approach to decision-making. The CPO will be expected to have a strong understanding of multi-channel revenue strategies and a history of successfully implementing and scaling new systems. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from internal staff to external partners and donors.
