- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs
- May participate in consultation to users and in cross functional teams
- Utilizes an intermediate understanding of multiple data structures and sources
- Leads the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions
- Works closely with IT execution teams on the development of analytic infrastructures
- Applies data visualization best practices
- Acts as a trusted data visualization advisor to stakeholders
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified and controlled
