Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will be the bridge connecting business, technology, and data. You will collaborate with partner teams across the firm, engage with C-suite stakeholders and interact with clients to tackle complex business data challenges.

What You Will Do

Create impactful data visualizations, generate actionable insights from data analysis, and present recommendations to improve business performance. Assist in optimizing internal data processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Around 3 years’ experience as a data analyst in a buy or sell-side environment
• Provide a portfolio showcasing previous data visualization projects and analysis work
• Passionate about data: you understand the value of data and the benefits and commercial opportunities it offers
• Experience of business intelligence techniques including data modeling, data collection, data mining, data analysis, data visualization and best practices
• Self-starter: be eager to learn and have the drive and will to succeed
• Excellent communication and data-storytelling skills: use data to tell a story to both technical and business audiences
• Proficiency in data visualization tools or libraries such as Tableau, Power BI, Plotly Dash, D3, or equivalent
• Strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• An understanding of how the Foreign Exchange market operates
