Role Overview

The Product Marketing Manager role is a senior individual contributor who translates U.S. portfolio strategy into high-impact commercialization, market development, customer engagement, and sales enablement programs. Reporting to the U.S. downstream marketing leader, this role independently leads complex initiatives and cross-functional workstreams for assigned products and priorities.

What You Will Do

Lead assigned U.S. commercialization initiatives from insight and planning through execution, measurement, and optimization. Develop and execute product marketing plans aligned with the U.S. HeartMate portfolio strategy, annual operating plan, brand standards, and approved claims.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, engineering, nursing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated product marketing or commercialization environments.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex product launches, commercialization programs, lifecycle initiatives, or market development workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience translating market, customer, clinical, and competitive insights into positioning, messaging, and actionable commercial programs.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, project leadership, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to define measures of success and use results to optimize execution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple high-impact initiatives, navigate ambiguity, and meet commitments in a fast-paced, matrixed, geographically diverse environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%, including customer, field, and industry engagements.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
