Role Overview

The Business Development Representative will expand lines of service by developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other key non-physician referral sources. They will collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and physicians to generate referral sources. The role involves developing strong relationships with key referral sources, identifying opportunities for partnering and growth, and managing leads from referral sources.

What You Will Do

The Business Development Representative will collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and physicians to generate referral sources. They will develop strong relationships with key referral sources, identify opportunities for partnering and growth, and manage leads from referral sources. The role involves coordinating with the clinical assessment team on referrals for admission, educating patients, families, and community on programs and services, and representing the facility in professional forums.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in sales and/or marketing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related health or social services field. The candidate should have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
