Product Operations Specialist

Role Overview

The Product Operations Specialist will work in the Singapore Government Agencies, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and operational excellence of family and inter-generational products. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to break down complex systems, and experience in triaging production issues.

What You Will Do

The Product Operations Specialist will partner with product managers, engineers, and policy leads to ensure operational readiness for new features, launches, and agency engagements. They will also manage the backlog of ProdOps issues, implement and maintain dashboards, and prepare clear documentation for operational approvals.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a technical business analyst or product operations specialist
• Strong understanding of data flows, backend processes, and system architecture
• Ability to break down complex systems into clear user journeys, operational steps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Experience triaging production issues, assessing user or operational impact, coordinating with technical teams, and tracking issues through to resolution
• Ability to manage issue backlogs in a structured way, including categorising issues, assessing severity and urgency, prioritising follow-up, and communicating trade-offs clearly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Structured, detail-oriented, and accountable, with strong documentation habits and follow-through
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, policy, frontline teams, and external partners
• Curious about backend systems, data integrity, system reliability, and how identity data flows across government platforms
• Collaborative and humble, with a strong sense of ownership
• Experience working on medium-scale products or in the public sector is a bonus
