Role Overview
The Account Manager will secure profitable business for their branch(es) and the company by selling the company’s portfolio of services, rentals, and products to potential and existing energy, broadband, transportation, and construction customers.
What You Will Do
The Account Manager is expected to meet or exceed sales/margin targets by using proper planning, effective sales presentations, a thorough understanding of industry trends and our competitors’ positions in the market, and continuous follow-up before and after the sale.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred
- Formal sales training preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales required, 3-5 years of experience strongly preferred, some experience in B2B outside sales.
- Experience in construction, traffic control, infrastructure, or related industries strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral presentation and communication skills in English, bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Strong customer orientation with demonstrated experience developing strong partnerships by understanding and anticipating business needs of the customer and maintaining customer satisfactions
- Proven track record of growing market share, including using cold calls to establish new accounts
- Proven ability to manage sales and profits against forecasts and targets
- Results-driven, high-energy, resourceful, self-motivated, able to work independently, and has a positive, ‘make it work’ attitude
- Proficient in using technology such as MS Office, CRM, business-related social media, etc.
- Commitment to adhering to and promoting safe workplace practices.
