Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. The role involves analysing complex data using Palantir Foundry, Athena, and Python to support AI product development.

What You Will Do

As a Data Analyst, you will analyse complex data, support data engineers and data scientists, and report results to stakeholders. You will also conduct in-depth data analysis to understand data quality, structure, and pipelines.

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of PySpark and distributed computation
• Highly efficient in ETL processes
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proven knowledge of software development best practices
• Experience with Agile methodology and problem-centric solution design
• A pragmatic mindset, not afraid of making mistakes, and learning from them
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
