Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing and enhancing financial technology solutions by translating requirements into functional software. The role involves working independently to identify issues or defects that may arise from system enhancements and mentoring Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers.

What You Will Do

The Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce Developer will utilize the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions, translate requirements into technical designs, and develop design specs. The role also involves creating and executing unit tests, analyzing and reviewing code, and defining and enforcing relevant code standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 5-8 years of work experience in related field (Software Development Life Cycle across Full Stack, Frontend and Backend Development and UI / UX engineering)
• Strong experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service (FSL), Account Engagement (Pardot), Data Cloud, core Salesforce CRM capabilities.
• Expertise in Salesforce administration and configuration, including Users, SSO, Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD, Roles, Sharing Rules, Objects, Fields, Record Types, and Page Layouts.
• Proficient in Validation Rules, Flows, Approval Processes, and Process Automation.
• Hands-on development experience with Apex (Sync/Async), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Javascript, Aura
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, including REST APIs, Bulk API, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), Event Monitoring and External Services.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and release management using Git, Gearset, VS Code, Agentforce Dev tool and Salesforce CLI (SF CLI).
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform Developer I are must.
