Financial Planning Analyst (10 Month Term)

The Calgary Airport Authority is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst for a 10-month term position. The role involves contributing to financial forecasting and budgeting, analyzing variances, and creating reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance, 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP systems
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and EPM systems
  • Statistical analysis and mathematical modeling skills
  • Strong understanding of core finance principles (NPV, IRR, nominal vs. real values, debt structures, interest and future value calculations, and currency exchange mechanisms)
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a RAIC
