Senior Financial Analyst, Fuel Planning and Analysis

Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Fuel Planning and Analysis, you will produce financial analyses, reports, and models that will support decisions related to fuel retail, inter-enterprise activities (B2B), electric vehicles, and related commercial activities.

Prepare and analyze financial reports related to fuel retail, inter-enterprise activities (B2B), electric vehicles, and related commercial activities. Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as the analysis of monthly results, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• A professional accounting title (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or ongoing efforts to obtain one are an asset.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related function.
• Experience with budgeting processes, forecasting, and reporting on performance.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and ability to extract useful conclusions for decision-making.
• Experience in retail fuel sales, proximity commerce, inter-enterprise activities (B2B), electric vehicles, logistics, or supply chain management is an asset.
• Mastery of Excel, particularly for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate results clearly to finance and other teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
