Data Engineer (People Analytics Team)

Role Overview

The People Analytics Team is a center of expertise for all companies in eMAG Group, serving as a bold HR technical team where hands-on development is not out of the ordinary. The team works in a niche domain: people data, using the newest technologies, having the data into Google Cloud.

What You Will Do

Develop and extend HR Data Lake in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), build end-to-end data flows, collaborate with HR to integrate all data sources, handle support and work on reports, develop and improve dashboards and visualization, and maintain and automate manual processes.

Requirements

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services related to data ingestion, data engineering, and data analytics
• Experience with data warehousing, data lake, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data governance
• Clear grasp of concepts like scheduler jobs, table views, IAM, access control, service accounts, and data security
• SQL, BigQuerry, Python, Excel advanced
