People Operations Manager

Role Overview

The People Operations Manager will be the first dedicated People/HR hire at Transluce, a non-profit research lab building world-class tools to oversee AI and steer its development for the public good. The role will involve hiring well, keeping the people who hire, and building a place worth staying.

What You Will Do

The People Operations Manager will own the hiring process, design the employee experience, and establish policies and practices to keep the culture strong as the organization grows. They will also advise managers and employees through sensitive situations, own employment compliance, and make decisions that carry real risk.
