Role Overview

As the primary commercial representative for Drug Product services, you will focus on identifying opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and positioning Alphora as a trusted development and manufacturing partner. The ideal candidate is a driven, consultative seller who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional relationship-building and business acumen. Proven ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new opportunities within the Drug Product market. Build and maintain relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and emerging biopharma companies across North America. Lead client interactions, including introductory meetings, technical discussions, facility tours, and business reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of business development, sales, account management, or commercial experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling Drug Product development and manufacturing services
  • Working knowledge of the product lifecycle from development through commercialization for oral solid dosage forms and/or sterile products
  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and advancing opportunities from prospecting through contract execution
  • Experience developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships that contribute to sustained revenue growth
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, regulatory environments, and GMP operations is preferred
