Role Overview

The Sales Development Manager will sit at the intersection of podcast ad sales, revenue partnerships, and creator monetization, responsible for transforming client marketing objectives into multi-platform podcast sponsorships.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include podcast strategy and sponsorship packaging, custom proposals, inventory packaging, multi-platform extensions, executive storytelling, sales enablement and monetization growth, marketing support, market intelligence, proactive pitching, and creator liaison.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7+ years of experience in media/advertising sales development, media planning, digital audio partnerships, or agency-side audio buying, with deep knowledge of the podcast landscape and fluency with audience data and podcast analytics.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years in media/advertising sales development, media planning, digital audio partnerships, or agency-side audio buying
  • Deep knowledge of the podcast landscape, including host-read dynamics, programmatic audio and attribution tools
  • Fluency with audience data and podcast analytics to evaluate campaign ROI and optimize ad spend
  • Outstanding written and presentation skills, with a proven ability to pitch high-level media buyers and brand directors
