VP, People Operations Manager – Global Payroll & HRIS

Role Overview

Galaxy is seeking a People Operations Manager, Global Payroll & HRIS to join our People team in a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting our global workforce. This position will play a critical role in two key areas: global payroll operations and the implementation of Workday.

The role will involve Workday implementation, global payroll operations, and ongoing ownership and optimization of Workday and global payroll operations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in People Operations, payroll, HRIS, HR technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience supporting payroll operations; global or multi-country payroll experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with Workday or another enterprise HRIS; direct Workday implementation experience is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the connection between HRIS data, payroll, benefits, Finance, and employee lifecycle processes
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile complex datasets, identify discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets, reporting, and analysis
