Role Overview
As a District Sales Manager, you will work remotely and be responsible for selling Gates products throughout the assigned territory. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding an annual sales quota and achieving specific strategic initiatives.
What You Will Do
You will research customer needs, develop an understanding of their applications, and apply the proper Gates technologies to improve their overall cost of ownership and productivity. You will also make regular sales calls, provide training and technical support, and increase overall mind share.

Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive sales experience or equivalent industry knowledge
- High school degree or equivalent work experience is required. College degree in a business or engineering field is preferred
- High degree of autonomy to influence cross-functional partners, distributors, and customers to deliver enterprise-level results
- Experience in selling Fluid Power and/or Power Transmission products is highly preferred
- Firm understanding of the MRO business is preferred
- CRM experience is preferred
- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time
