Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Data Analyst will support Genworth business teams by facilitating timely, accurate, and secure access to operational data. This role will manage data requests submitted through ServiceNow, translate business needs into clear data requirements, and retrieve information from multiple databases and source systems.

What You Will Do

Manage and prioritize data requests through ServiceNow, write, execute, and maintain SQL queries across multiple databases, validate and analyze data extracts, collaborate with business partners, and create and maintain thorough documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business operations, or information management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using SQL and Excel
• Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Collaborative and customer-focused mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience documenting processes and leveraging tools such as Power BI, ServiceNow, Power Query, Power Automate, Python, Databricks, or similar technologies
