Automotive Sales Manager

Role Overview

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives. Recruit, train, and develop sales consultants to improve performance and customer service. Monitor sales activities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dealership profitability.

What You Will Do

Assist sales staff in closing vehicle sales and resolving customer concerns. Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the buying process. Manage inventory to maintain the proper mix of vehicles and maximize turnover.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of automotive sales experience
  • Prior supervisory or management experience

  • Knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS), CRM software, and inventory management tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
