Data Scientist

Role Overview

The Data Scientist will support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) by helping clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include designing and developing data visualization and dashboard solutions, leading and reviewing data cleaning scripts, maintaining and enhancing dashboards, and applying structured critical thinking to break down complex client challenges.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong communication and presentation skills, ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences, and experience with SQL, Power BI, and cloud-based analytics environments.

Requirements

• Ability to Obtain Public Trust
• Bachelors Degree
• THREE (3) or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, business analytics or data engineering
