People Ops Manager

Role Overview

Heirloom is a world-class team of engineers, scientists, and concerned humans working together to build a more equitable, prosperous future for all. The People Ops Manager will own HR systems and processes, ensure compliance, and support performance management cycles.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include HRIS administration, payroll coordination, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, and employee communications.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive HR experience, sound judgment, and discretion in handling sensitive situations, and a bias toward action.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• HRIS management
• payroll and benefits administration
• compliance
• employee lifecycle management (including immigration support)
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• comfort operating with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
• familiarity with modern HR tools
• genuine interest in Heirloom’s mission
