Business Development Manager – Asset Finance Group

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will serve as the primary marketing professional for assigned practices within the Firm’s Financial Services Section (Asset Finance Practice Group). They will work closely with the practice leaders to develop strategies and implement marketing and business development activities for the assigned areas.

Develop business plans, manage practice marketing budgets, create collateral materials, plan meetings, and assess opportunities for new business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6-10 years of experience in a legal or professional services marketing environment
• Creative, outward-looking, confident, capable of sharing innovative ideas
• Leader, mentor, coach, team player, facilitator, manager, and client-service orientation
• Strategic, high-energy results oriented and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills including active listening, clear and concise writing, and confident, persuasive speaking
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to establish ongoing partnerships with peers and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with work solution platforms (e.g., CRM, invoicing and expenses, matter management, reporting, etc.)
