Role Overview

The AVP Marketing Strategy & Analytics will lead strategy, analytics, and planning across Horace Mann’s Local Agent, Call Center, Partnerships, and Internet channels. This leader will translate enterprise priorities into clear channel strategies, operating plans, forecasts, investment choices, and performance roadmaps that support profitable growth.

What You Will Do

The role will lead and develop a team of approximately four strategy and analytics professionals, with the capacity to scale as business needs evolve. Key responsibilities include leading marketing and distribution strategy, analytics, and planning, establishing key performance indicators, and building decision-support capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 10 or more years of experience in strategy, analytics, planning, consulting, finance, distribution, or a related leadership discipline
• Significant people-leadership experience with a record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing strategy and analytics teams
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise or multi-channel strategy, analytics, and planning, with the ability to set direction and drive measurable business outcomes
• Deep expertise in operational and sales-funnel analytics, including lead generation, routing, productivity, conversion, growth, retention, and investment effectiveness
• Advanced quantitative and financial acumen, including modeling, forecasting, dashboard development, data visualization, and decision-tool design
• Executive-level communication and influence, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for agent, functional, and senior leadership audiences

Benefits

• Base Salary Pay Range: $124,200–$175,800
• Annual Incentive Plan: This position is eligible for a target incentive of 20% of eligible earnings, based on company performance
