Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Billing Operations

Role Overview

ID.me is looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting & Billing Operations to own our revenue and billing function end-to-end as we scale toward IPO readiness. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounting & Financial Operations, you’ll own the full order-to-cash cycle — from how a deal is structured and booked in Salesforce, through usage capture and invoicing, to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, AR, and the monthly close.

What You Will Do

Own the end-to-end revenue and billing cycle, including deal booking and contract intake, usage and consumption data capture, invoicing, collections support, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and AR across all verticals and product lines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This is a builder role for someone who wants to fix the system, not just operate it. You’ll lead the accounting automation roadmap for revenue and billing, automate billing end-to-end for every vertical, and partner with the Senior Director to optimize the finance tool stack we already own.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition
• Demonstrated ownership of an end-to-end billing or order-to-cash process
• Track record of delivering accounting automation
• Experience working directly with Revenue Operations, Salesforce administrators, or Data/Engineering teams
• Advanced proficiency with financial systems (NetSuite, NetSuite ARM, Salesforce) and advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot)
• Proactive operator — brings problems forward with a proposed solution
