Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new opportunities within the designated region by engaging with customers and applications. This role is 100% remote and requires regular travel to customer locations, company facilities, trade shows, conferences, and other business-related events.
What You Will Do
Prepare Business Development Plans, coordinate involvement of Meritec personnel, develop and maintain relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, and identify potential customers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five (5) years in a similar position or related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience working with CRM software
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain new and existing relationships
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate and persuade others
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Professional demeanor
- Strong understanding of interconnect market
