Sales Operations & Excellence Manager – Asia
Sydney | Hybrid Working | 18-Month Contract
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Operations & Excellence Manager to join a high-performing regional team supporting a purpose-driven business across Asia. This role sits at the intersection of operational excellence, analytics, revenue management, and sales performance, helping drive growth through accurate data, business insights, and execution discipline.
Working closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, Operations, and regional stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer alignment, revenue accuracy, forecasting excellence, and operational governance across the business.
About the Role
This role combines approximately 50% Sales Operations and 50% Sales Excellence responsibilities, providing exposure to both strategic and operational business activities.
Sales Operations
- Managing and resolving revenue attribution and customer ownership issues.
- Reviewing and processing account, territory, and customer alignment requests.
- Supporting account segmentation and hierarchy management.
- Coordinating with global operations teams to resolve complex allocation and revenue challenges.
- Maintaining operational controls, audits, and compliance processes.
- Managing escalations and stakeholder communications to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Supporting territory planning and customer assignment activities.
Sales Excellence
- Producing pipeline health reporting and performance insights.
- Supporting forecasting, milestone tracking, and pipeline governance.
- Delivering business performance analysis and identifying growth opportunities.
- Supporting Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes and sales execution cadences.
- Developing executive reporting, dashboards, and business reviews.
- Driving process improvement initiatives through automation and data-led insights.
- Identifying opportunities to improve seller productivity and operational efficiency.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Business Analysis, Consulting, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with complex datasets and operational workflows.
- Exposure to territory management, account alignment, segmentation, quota, or revenue operations.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships across multiple business functions.
- Ability to operate across regional and global teams.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Experience using CRM, ticketing, or workflow platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, forecasting, revenue management, or business performance reporting.
- Proficiency across modern productivity and collaboration tools.
Desirable
- Experience supporting Asia-Pacific markets.
- Japanese language capability would be highly regarded.
- Background in technology, SaaS, consulting, telecommunications, or large enterprise environments.
