Financial Analyst (Ukraine Programme Support)

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will provide remote finance and analytical support to the MAG Ukraine Programme from the UK. The role will focus on financial analysis, budget monitoring, forecasting, donor and management reporting, data quality and month-end support.

What You Will Do

Prepare and maintain regular budget versus actual analysis, support the preparation and updating of programme forecasts, assist with monthly management accounts and internal financial reporting, and support donor financial reporting and grant-management processes.

Requirements

• Relevant finance, accounting, economics or business qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify, explain and communicate financial trends and variances
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good written and spoken English
• Ukrainian language skills are strongly desirable
