Senior Engineering Technician – Local AI Automation

Role Overview

The Local AI Automation team is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Technician to help scale and sustain a reliable automation lab supporting AI development and validation.

Set up, cable, configure, and maintain Local AI systems and supporting application and data servers across Windows and Linux environments.

Requirements

• B.Tech or a diploma/degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting lab operations, system bring-up, GPU-based Local AI PCs and desktop systems, and the backend and data server setup used for hosting applications
• Hands-on experience installing, upgrading, resolving problems, and maintaining Local AI PCs and desktop systems, in addition to application and database server environments
• Demonstrable understanding of desktop and server environments including Windows OS and Linux distributions, along with foundational networking concepts
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-functional partnership skills
• Ability to work independently, handle operational issues, and coordinate alongside collaborators to drive timely resolution
