Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview

Collaborates with the marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. Tracks campaign performance and collects and analyzes data to identify what’s working and what isn’t. Collaborates with product managers, sales channels, and go-to-market (GTM) stakeholders to get buy-in and ensure alignment across the GTM process.

What You Will Do

Identifies, secures, and maintains market intelligence on OEC’s buyers including how they buy and their key buying criteria. Understands the competitive landscape and serves as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on OEC’s competition and how they are positioned.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Acts as the primary thought leader for the products supported externally, including speaking engagements and written works. Understands and support OEC’s sales channels; train individuals on the problems OEC solves for our buyers and users; develops internal tools and external collateral, and teach team members how and when to use them.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product marketing experience with at least 2 of those years in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
• Proven success using return-on-investment (ROI) tracking to prove what is or isn’t working
• Familiar with tools such as HubSpot, Wrike, Excel, and Power BI
• Engaging presentation skills with the ability to effectively speak to and interact with various sizes/types of audiences in a professional and easy-to-understand manner (including large senior groups)
• Excellent business and creative writing skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, and can build collaborative partnerships across multiple levels of stakeholders including internal team members and third parties
