Role Overview
This role is the first dedicated People Ops hire at Salient Motion, a fast-growing startup building advanced motion control systems. The People Operations Generalist will build and own the operational infrastructure for onboarding, compliance, HRIS, payroll, and benefits, as well as support recruiting operations.
What You Will Do
The People Operations Generalist will be responsible for HRIS administration, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll support, culture and engagement, and company policy ownership. They will also support recruiting operations, including job posting management, interview coordination, candidate experience, offer routing, and Greenhouse hygiene.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in People Ops, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator roles
- ITAR-eligible (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident)

- Rippling, Greenhouse, Juicebox, or other HR/Recruiting tool experience
